WE WELCOME YOUR DONATION

Estey & Bomberger LLP have been our platinum sponsor since they came on in 2016. Mike Bomberger and I have known each other for over 20yrs. We met back when I worked in a local bike shop. That also happen to be the bike shop we bought in 2011. Mike is a great cyclist and he is an even better lawyer. Mike and his team have helped me and my family a few times.

Mike did more than just recover some money four our pain & suffer and damage to our bikes. Mike went above and beyond to motivate the city to make a major repair that was the cause of the accident. That extra effort has probably saved many cyclist lives, making San Diego a safer place to ride a bike.

We are proud to have the support from Mike his family, and his firm Estey & Bomberger LLP. They share a similar goal of impacting the local community and a love for bikes, so it's a great partnership.

Thank you for your support and generous contributions.

Ryan Stewman AKA "The Harcore Closer" was an awesome sponsor to have for 2016. Ryan and I found ourselves working on a touchy situation with his sales business. I was able to shed some light on things and help him out. He was so grateful he offered to give me access to his top level training content. I declined his offer because I didn't help him to get anything, helping was just the right thing to do.

When I first started my online campaign for 2016 Ryan saw what we were doing and immediately made a sizable donation and sent us some of his sale books from the best sellers list. We gave those books out "auction style" to a group of sales guys that were here at the event. We were able to raise enough money from the books alone to cover 3 kids with a bike, helmet, and lock. Thanks Ryan, the timing and amount of your donation kicked us off to a very successful year.

I'm a little concerned Joe could get upset with us for posting that they were major contributors to our 2016 campaign. Joe & Marsha are close family friend of Maribel's cousin, Elsie. We ran into Joe & Marsha at a party a few months before out event. We were talking about what we had going on and sharing how we figure out how the kids will earn a bike. Like a day or so later I receive this email that's kind of cryptic and from an email, I didn't know. In the email, they stated how much they wanted to donate but It was just signed Joe. It was very generous, but I couldn't figure out Who Joe was and where the connection was made. It's kind of funny because I only know Joe as joe & Marsha. They are always together when I see them.

I had to bite the bullet and embarrass myself by asking who this was, and how they found out about the Bikes 4 Kids project. the response was just as cryptic as the original email. all it said was "you told us about it at the party." Anyway, we sorted it out and had a laugh, but they were pretty clear that they did not want any credit for the donation. That's why I am not sure if they will be happy or not when they see this. The only thing they were concerned about was that the money goes toward getting kids new bikes. I sure Hope joe & Marsha are able to make it to this year's event.

Thank you for your support and generous contributions.

The Mile of cars has been a big part of National City since I can remember. When they heard about our Bikes 4 kids project, they stepped up and made a generous donation. They are a part of the community and members of the Chamber of Commerce with Maribel. You will find that the Mile of Car is part of many charitable projects in the community all through the year.

Jenifer Gualt and Foundation escrow were new to my team. I am very picky about the service providers I choose when working with a client to buy or sell a home. The staff at Foundation escrow is always on point and quick to respond with answers. I don't think there is a better point of contact than Jenifer for any escrow company here in San Diego.

When giving back to the community comes up, many sales people or reps shy away. Not Jenifer, she went to bat for Bikes 4 Kids and secured a very nice donation from her boss. Jenifer was pregnant at the time of the party. she did make it out and I think she had fun. I know she made a few connections there. I love the fact that foundation Escrow and Jenifer supported our charity and I appreciate how they regularly meet the needs of my real estate clients every time I use them.

Thank you for your support and generous contributions.

Frank Motors is a lot more than a few car dealerships, they are pillars in the National City community. It wasn't a surprise that we received a donation from them. Theses guys do all kinds of cool things for the kids in the community. Giving back and helping the kids and families might even come before selling cars. Maribel is on the National city chamber board and she gets to see first hand all the extra time and effort the team at Frank motor Group does to help National City. We are honored and proud to be partners with Frank Motors for the 2016 Bikes 4 Kids charity.

Marguerite Is a great friend and trusted Realtor that shares the same desires  I have, and that is to make a huge impact on her community. Both of us try to do that with every new client we take on, and when it came to Bikes 4 Kids, Marguerite stepped up and supported us.

In an effort to help. she went one step further by interviewing me about Bikes 4 Kids Charity. I don't talk about this much, but I did have this crazy thought that maybe there would be another Realtor/bike nut that wanted to give back to their community. I designed everything we do to easily be repeatable, and Marguerite gave me the opportunity to share that with my peers in the real estate industry.

Marguerite is way up in NorCal, but she still reached into her wallet and made a nice donation to help the kids in National City get new bikes. Marguerite, I truly appreciate you for helping our charity and for being a great sounding board when I have a tough real estate question. you are always there to lend a hand.

Thank you for your support and generous contributions.

It really should not have surprised me that Shannon (owner of Green Lion Realty) donated to our charity project. Shannon is a new friend and kind of business partner. She is an amazing marketer and generous trainer in the real estate space. We lost a good friend and business associate just over a year ago, and since then Shannon and I have probably talked every day. Mostly in our Training group, we run, but probably every day.

Shannon just put out a new real estate marketing book, and we worked together using her book to generate just over $25,000.00 for our friends family after his sudden death. So you can see why I shouldn't have been surprised when I saw her generous donation, but I was. Shannon lives in Florida, and I doubt she has even vacationed here in San Diego and certainly not National City.

So why would she donate to help kids across the country? All I can say is that is just how she is. I have told her more than once, she is just too nice and too helpful. I guess I shouldn't be surprised because I seem to learn something new from Shannon at least once or twice a week. I truly appreciate your support and our friendship.

Thank you for your support and generous contributions.

I'm sure you'll notice quickly that this isn't the usual corporate sponsor page. After you read just a few posts you'll think to yourself "these are all their friend's companies." Honestly, I hope that's true. I would be proud to call every one of these generous sponsors my friend, and I know Maribel feels the same.

Friend or not, there's one thing that every one of these business owners has in common, they all understand how important it is to help. None of these people had to do anything. Even if they were all super close friends of ours, they still wouldn't have to do anything. Ultimately, they didn't do anything for Maribel or me anyway, they stepped up to help the cause. their donations went to help the kids, and to impact the community. These people and companies are setting an example for other businesses to start helping the community they are part of. These business owners  are saying, "if we don't help, then who will?"

If you're looking through the page and realize you need a service that any of these people or companies offer, please give me a call. I'll tell you everything you need to know to feel confident about doing business with any of them. If you do choose to do business with one of these companies, at least you'll know what drives them, and you now have a little glance into how they choose to spend their companies money.

2016 was the first year performance Strength Lab had been in business. A past client and teammate "from when I owned the Bike shop" is one of the trainers there. Mark saw what we were doing from my Social Media posts and the newsletter I send out to all the supporters. It's really not me or Maribel, it's guys like Mark and businesses like performance Strength lab that made 2016 an overwhelming success. Mark and a few other past clients and teammates who are Triathletes had a race out of town the weekend of the event. Mark sent me 2 30 day passes for our raffle. Theses were not passed to their group training, but a months worth of personal training with Mark. The stars aligned that night because the guest who won that raffle item is a dedicated athlete. I am happy to have the support and to be able to offer the guests some really cool raffle prizes, but I would have really liked it Mark & Kim would have been able to make it celebrate with us. I hope they can make it this year 8/19/17

Riverwalk has been super generous and a supporter since 2015 when we had the first Charity party. I have a friend that used to work there before he moved to TX. He connected me to the GM and they have given us special passes for raffles prizes multiple times. They get requests for donations of cash and free gold like we have been getting all the time. I am truly grateful that they have chosen to support us when they could give those passes to other more hi-profile organizations. This past year we raffled off to packages for Riverwalk. one of the winners gave their pass back because they don't play golf. One of the other guests gave me $50 for the passes even though he had already made a generous contribution.

If you were to ask him, Ryan Fletcher would deny being one of the people who helped develop the Bikes 4 kids Charity. He would say something like "it was Andrew's idea," and "I didn't do anything." That, in my opinion, would be incorrect, and I was there from the beginning.

Ryan inspired me to try and make a difference in our community. Ryan planted the seeds and over several months of working with him and the PPS group I was able to see something coming together. You know that podcast interview I reference that had Adam Braun the founder of "Pencils of Promise," well I was listening to that the morning before this picture was taken. I was up at Ryan first live event for his PPS marketing group.  Ryan was the one who got the fire in me started, and I want to thank him for that.

Ryan was also the very first person to make a donation to Bikes 4 Kids Charity back in 2015. His donation is kind of like that $1 bill you see posted at many small businesses. It means a lot and since that first donation, we have had over $18,000.00 donated and we've delivered 209 bikes & helmets. Ryan didn't stop there either, and he certainly could of. No other marketing coach would donate back to a paying customer, they just aren't wired like that. Ryan sat down and wrote up a nice story about his experience as a kid with his bike. He sent that to hundreds or thousands of his massive audience and asked them to donate just $5. I believe we collected close to $350 dollars in increments of $5 through the GFM account.

Even if he doesn't want credit for helping me start the B4K charity he definitely was the first person to donate and he wrote that letter and asked his audience to help. Maribel and I certainly didn't do any of that. Thanks brother for the inspiration and support.

In 2016 Mission Federal credit union opened a new branch in National City. Tina the Branch manager immediately set out to start making connections in the community. Mission Fed is a not for profit bank and so charities and community projects are part of their DNA. Tina Met Maribel through the Chamber as they are both on the Board of Directors. Tina not only made a generous donation on behalf of

Mission Federal Credit Union

Mission Fed, she came out to our party to mingle and enjoy the fun as well. just recently we were able to present Tina and Mission Fed a custom made wooden plaque that the kids at Sweetwater High. When we delivered that plaque, Tina was able to share with us a rather lengthy list of events and charities they support. I have to say, Both Maribel and I felt honored that our Bikes 4 Kids charity made the short list of an impressive list.
